For critical color work, reading and photography we suggest using the 50 Watt 4700K SoLux bulb. For displaying artwork or highlighting textiles we suggest using the SoLux 50W 3500K. For jewelry SoLux 50W 4100K.

The Clip-on measures 8" long, with shade 5" wide and 4" deep and can clip on to a surface up to 1.75" wide.

Hey Kevin,
Just wanted to give you an update on my SoLux clip-on lamp. It's still the best! It's so portable....I've been bringing it to hotel rooms to do bridal parties, clipping it to all sorts of things....like curtain rods, wrought iron shelves, the arm of my makeup chair, even once doing a brides makeup I clipped it onto a tree branch that was in a pot in the room! As far as the bulb...All my customers have loved their custom blended foundations and think they are a perfect color match! Thanks again, Jude

The Clip-on fixture comes with a 4700K 50 watt SoLux bulb and plano-convex diffuser to provide a wider beam spread and softer light. If a brighter and more specular daylight beam is required, simply remove the diffuser. For automotive or industrial applications we recommend ordering the Solar Simulator.
